I remember as a little girl we would stat with my grandma and she set the alarm for the next day so we could go to church. That is exactly what her clock looked like. She called her clock Big Ben I don't know why she named her alarm clock that.

I love this clock! Ironic but this about the time that mother nature gets me up every morning. It's the devil getting old! Mother Nature plays havock with your whole life-style! I guess that is better than the alternative. You do have to have a good sense of humor to get through it all without going nuts. I have always had a warped sense of humor so I don't have too hard of a time while Mother Nature plays with me! I can still have fun with all the crazy things that just pop up out of the blue. If I actually got more than 3 hrs sleep at the time, it would scare me! We won't go into all the other "little things" that have changed over the last few years! I was 62 the day after Christmas and a have severe arthritis but have learned to cope with the pain fairly well. I still try all the so called remedy's that I come across but Mon-A-Vie is the only real thing I have found that helps but can not afford to use it anymore. It cost about $60.00 a week and I just do not have that extra living off disability. You soon learn that laughter is the best medicine! I enjoy this site and have become addicted in the short time I have been here! I am very impressed at how well everyone seems to get along and look out for each other. Of course, you will always have an exception to that but I have only seen one since I have been here. I believe in live and let live! You never know what goes on in another person's heart. I think the things that you do for other members are just wonderful! Off my soap box... thanks for the design. Linda in Ga
