and cut close to your design and reroll. You will have saved 3 or 4 inches of stabilizer depending on the size of your design. This adds up after a while and gives you several inches more of stabilizer!

I'll have to try that. I like to save it as much as I can. When I use 2 layers I fold instead of cutting 2 separate pieces, then sometimes what's unused along the fold will fit a smaller hoop. Smaller pieces can be cut into strips to use for decorative stitching. Tiny scraps can be disolved and used as heavy starch.
