To have design added to them and 4 very large pieces of unused fabric at least 3-3 1/2 meters and my daughter got a dress for herself and a velance of her bed. all for $10 aussie dollars that is approx $6.50 American. Dont know what i am going to make with them. After i got home i was thinking about some plain colured quilted bed spreads and thought they would make great bags. Might have to revisit there they were all $3.00 aus or $1.95 Usa.

Here in Amarillo, we have several Thrift Shops, so I go Thrift shopping more than regular shopping. Good deals. Glad you found real good deals too!

I think here US call it consigment store. Thift shops are lot cheaper than consigment shop. Thift shop items are donated. Consigment shop items are previous owner and shop owner split the income from the sold item. Here in Alabama, we have unclaimed baggage store. All items are come from unclaimed airport baggage. They have clothes, toys, skii related items, electronics, and you named it they have it. I think CNN and Discovery channel both aired one time about that. Here is the link you can take a look.

Good job! I know you had a great time. I love thrift stores (second hand shops). You never know what treasures you might find!! *4U

One of the High School girls on my bus comes from a family of 11 children, she had on a lovely deep burgundy top one day, I told her my daughter would love that top and asked where she got it. She said "a vintage shop" lol

I like that "vintage" it sounds so much classier than 2nd hand. By the time I get through with clothes they are only good for the garage rag bag. :)
