HI i have done small santa sacks and candy cane holders on felt and didnt use any wss ontop and didint have any problems all turned out gr8..... happy stitching

Sorry, Just a question, Does the stitching sink in to felt or do you use solvy on top?

Embroidery on felt looks great, I also love to do cross stitch designs on felt those do really look good on felt.

Felt likes to make lint in the bobbin case so make sure you keep an eye on that otherwise it is a great fabric to work with.

I've done bookmark on felt and it worked very well. I even did the cross stitch and it was beautiful.

I love to sew on felt!

Yes - it is easy to stitch on - you can go back into the projects and see many things done with felt. I put a tear away on back and just stitch away. I am working with felt on a project right now, and hope to be able to post it soon. And if you are close to a JoAnn's then you need to watch their sales, for they have the extra wide at 50% off.

Also- Much more economical to buy it by the yard than in the squares.

I have embroidered on felt, It sews out great and looks terrific. I wish all my emb looked so good! *4U
