Lillian, hope they can fix it while you wait. My dealer has 2 locations and the repair guy is in one store one day and in the other store another day. I always call first. I'm glad you. I always take in the item that was giving me a problem. It helps when they see it. Good luck sweetie!!!!
I'll get it back Sat. thanks katy. I started with a Bernina but never could get anything done with it so traded it n on the Babylock Ellegante 1, then traded that n on this babylock ellegant 2, I bought the bernina off ebay & that's a mistake when u get no manuals with it & the cd player that came with it didn't work, later found they had all been recalled & replaced by Bernina. I
m really happy with what I have now so I guess that's all that matters. *
OH MY, I would go insane! I hope it's nothing seriious. I keep putting off my annual maintenance because I don't want to be without my machine especially now with everything I need to get done for Christmas.
I am feeling with you. I only have done 3 projects in my life being totally new to this craft. My machine is packed up for the upcoming move and I am reading and drooling over all your comments, projects and all. I am accumulating a wealth of info. Hope you get you machine back real soon.
I am so sorry about that. My Bernina did that for a while. It had a 'burr' and it was fixed by gently rubbing a fine sand paper in the bobbing case area, and places where the thread goes through. I hope they return return yours to you promptly.
I have a Bernina. Don't let my baby hear you mention "burr". Might be contagious!!
I know how you feel I just got my machine back fro me shop yesterday. One thing they told me that there was lots of lint in there, even thou I try to clean it all the time and that is from the vilene. You been doing lots of TP and that could be part of the problem too. This machines are so delicate. I hope you get it back real soon.*****
thanks Maria, I keep me a can of Blow Off Duster to keep everything blowed out well. My repair said he'd never seen a cleaner machine. That mad me feel better.
So sorry to hear your machine is ill. Here, I'm sending it a bunch of good vibes to recooperate .....................and a great big hug for you!!
So sorry to hear about your machine. I dread the day that mine would have to go in for a repair or check up.
I know the feeling it's like a MC you can't leave home without it ;) *2U
Oh Lillian, I had mine in the shop just this last week - I had a very hard time without it - they did not have a loaner, either. Please let us know what they do for shredding thread - OK?
I took a long hard at the new Elissimo shirlener but he wanted $4,500.00 plus my machine as a trade in. He's selling it for $8.000.00. I'd already asked around & others r asking $9.000,00 for it. Way out of my league. *
Lillian see if you can get a loaner while it is in the shop! I feel for you hun xoxox*
So sorry, Lillian! BUT now's the time to jump on getting the house ready for the holidays...no machine calling your name to come and play! Hope they fix it fast!
hope everything goes well, and they fix your machine!
Oh Lillian I can so empathise with you. I hope it is as simple as a service and you get it fixed while you wait. Will be thinking of you and hoping for a great outcome. hugs n roses, M
Oh, Iam sorry to hear that. Hope you have your machine even better than was before. Hugs&flower
Lillian, It probably needs its annual check-up. When I bought mine, I was told that you need to have them cleaned, cleaning we can't do, on a yearly basis. Hope you can get it repaired and take it back with you so you won't have to make two trips.
U r right & it is going to get it before I get it back, then I'm set 4 another yr. *
What do you do without your embroiderymachine Lilian. Hope they can fix it quick and that you can wait during the fixing. Saves you a long trip when you van take it back today. Good luck and drive safe
Oh No not the embroidery machine, hope they can get it working. Withdrawls from embroidery are horrible!
You can say that again, I even seriously thought about buying a backup machine when the first I had went n the shop. Boy talk abou withdrawal. *
Oh no, check your bobbin. I know a lot of people who have had this problem and the whole time it was the bobbin. Seems the pre-wound ones won't work and even winding on the machine isn't good. Everyone that used the external bobbin winder has had good luck, just a suggestion before you make a long trip.
Wishing you well.
Sue
Believe me I tried everything, new bobbin, new bobbin thread, new needlesm different threads, a different race I tried everything I could possibly do except taking machine all apart. & the dealer had told me when I bought it if I took the machine all apart the warranty would not be valid. so I didn't go that far. *
so sorry to hear I know you will be upset I have only had my machine a while but love it they are so special to us hope a * makes you :)
