Glad to see that you have taken a peek our South African 'potjiekos'(food in a pot). My DH makes the most divine 'chicken curry potjie'. It is like a stew or casserole, but tastes so much nicer cooked on an open fire. Mmmmm, this is making me hungry. LOL *4U
Very interesting. That just go to show us we are not too old to learn something new.
Wowee, the things we can learn from embroidery!! Thank you so much for telling us about this little adventure you had poking around the Designs 4 Africa site!! I was wondering what to do with that ostrich in my freezer, now I know! Uhh, not really an ostrich in my freezer, but we do actually have ostrich farms around here & you can purchase the meat. But I think these would be good crock pot recipes, too, with a little adjusting. And next summer, I may get out that cast iron dutch oven and give these a go on the campfire in my yard. Thank you soooooo much, this was just a fabulous side trip into Africa, and I enjoyed it thoroughly!! Marji
*4U! I was pleased to see that someone else finds these little adventures...interesting and entertaining!!!
