On Monday morning 2 of my grandchildren will be in the hospital with a kidney transplant. Krista 18 years old the recepient and her brother Kevin, the donor, 22 years old. I am not sure when I will be back. 11 years ago my son and I went through the same thing him receiving the kidney. I think it is weird. The docotors said that there is no heredity factor involved. I will miss my daily dose of Cuties :)

To all of you that cared and prayed for my grandchildren THANK YOU. They are doing beautifully. Kevin came home today from the hospital and Krista should be coming home on the weekend. On Sunday they had a gathering of friends in a Restaurant and about 100 friends showed up. They had 2 large cakes. The icing displayed a plumb healthy kidney on one cake and another with a grey and shriveld one. The outporing of Love was amazing and that includes Cuties.

I agree. He is a hero. He was so nervous the morning of the operation, that I thought he was going to be sick. Today he is joyful and dealing with the pain like a champ.

Yes, everything did go well. My grandson is over 6 feet tall, athlete and young. That made getting the kidney a little difficult. Praise God it worked
