thought was the regular price turned out to be a SALE PRICE, and that the sale was ending on November 22. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I found out the regular price was $1799!!!! and that it was going up to $1299!!!! and I got it for $499. Whew that was a close one, but then you can never tell about sales people whether it's a con or not but I think my girl is pretty honest with me, showed me her price list book and all. Anyway it'll be fun to quilt without some large stitches and some small stitches.

Wow, nice catch there! You are going to have so much fun. I have the BSR (Bernina)and about the same, if you just make lots (5-6)of muslin/batting/muslin "sandwiches". you will be a pro at it by the time you finish those off! Have fun!

Don't you just love those lucky breaks!!! I got my Mega Quilter/Inspira frame/ and quilters cruise control(stitch regulator)plus a bunch of extras for $1,700. It was less than 2 yrs old and listed on Ebay. "Pick up only" and she was 20 minutes from me. I went and looked at it before I bid and I was the only bidder so I got it for a song!!! Having a ball with it. The stitch regulator makes it so much easier to "cruise".

I'm so jealous, hubby wanted to get me this huge quilting set up but at this point I just don't know whether it would be worth it or not. And don't you just LOVE ebay!

Would never have made a purchase like that on Ebay if I hadn't been able to check the item out first!! I have my frame set up 1/2 size(only 5 ft. wide. It works great for quilting fabric to make my handbags with.

That was a great buy, wasn't it? I went to the school house event and got mine there - have yet to set mine up, but love those good buys! Did yours come with the free open toe free motion spring foot? I did get one that had it, but some did not have it - the box had to be marked, and my dealer made sure that I got the new ones. I can not believe how much all of these things are getting to be. Have you worked with it yet? I went to a class and tried it for the first time - this is going to take some practice. I have my project planned to do - just need to get it stitched together first.

Aren't you lucky! It was never this "cheap" here and I really can't afford it now, but I'm so curious to see results of someone who bought it. So please post something once you've got the hang of it.
