Here it is finally . My Quilt (my version of federation) the material was Polyester Damask ( Boy was that hard)If only I knew then, what I know now how to manage it , I would have not made the label " How not to make a Quilt" hehh

I love the pastel colours which goes so well with the colours in my bedroom and the carpet. The pale green satin was left overs from 4 bridesmaid dresses that I made , and the gold and green was from the same bridesmaid. Will post a few of the blocks so you can see the colour and the detail

It is beautiful, just lovely! I made the picture bigger, and could see more of it, but it is just gorgeous. I looks like you embroidered the satin too. Was it hard? Someone told me that it is a nightmare to work on satin. *

Thank you . Embroidering on the Satin was easy compared to the Damask. As the Satin was backed with Vysoflex it was pretty stable.

I have never heard of Vysoflex, but I will google it. Thanks for telling me.

Gorgeous, this is another piece of work. I literally need one 'how to make a Quilt' instructions. You have done an excellent job, Roslyn!

Thank you Manami. Plenty of books around to guide you. This one ane the one I made for the Niece was taken from 3 books. I just picked out the blocks I like and away I went
