Oh, Kerry, I'm so sorry!! The love your little Benny showed you & your DH will be rewarded. He's well & young, playing in the sun with other kitty friends by the Rainbow Bridge in the meadow in front of Heaven's gates. When you get there (and I hope that'll be a long while yet), Benny will know you and run to you, and you'll all go in together. I have lots and lots of little friends waiting for me there, and I think my DH's go play with them. I'll have them introduce Benny around. I'm so sorry for your loss!
Oh, that not getting any more animals part? Me too! After I lost three 17 & 18 year old cats I said never again. Uhhh, I have 7 now. The little ones just show up at my door when they need to, and I always swear I will find them a good home. Guess they found it themselves. They now range from 12 down to 2. So much for never again. God will set that cat trap when you least expect it, believe me, hee hee hee. Luv ya, Marji
You made me smile marji, I know what you mean, all the injured animals tend to find our house. I guess time will tell won't it? thanks for your kind thoughts.
Sorry to hear about Benny. Our pets can be more than that, and my daughter calls her dogs her fuzzy babies. We are thinking about you.
Sorry you've lost your cat, but at least he is pain free....living the good life now..nothing to do all day but chase and play and of course have a snort or two of catnip. My thoughts are with you.

Sorry to hear about your cat Benny. Aren't pets amazing, your best friends they are always there for you,,,,
Sorry for your loss, but as you cared for Benny Cat, he will now watch over you from afar. Remember in your grief, to celebrate all the good times so that he will be with you in your heart, until you meet again.
I am so sorry . When we lose our pets ( friends ) it is hard. my thoughts are with you
I am so sorry that Benny lost the battle. Pets are part of the family and we feel with them. I lost my 18 year old cat not to long ago and I know the devotion and love they have for us. They are faithful friends and when they are gone we miss them terribly.
Kezza, I am so very sorry for your loss. Our cats (2 at this time) are an extension of our family and we love them so very much. You are correct, he waited for your husband they have such unconditional & pure love for their owners, rather moms & dads. Remember the wonderful times spent with Benny and try to let the time of pain go. I do not know for sure if all of our beloved pets will be in Heaven with us, but I really hope they will be!! Sue
I sympathize with you. I lost my little dog a year ago and still miss her although I have since found another little girl. But it isn't the same. You are in my prayers.
For the cuties that do not know of "Rainbow Bridge"
I thought I would post the link. I have lost many of my 4 legged furry babies, I sympathize with you in your grief.*

I sit here with tears running down my cheeks, being 'mom' to 8 cats of my own I know your pain. We all know that they will be waiting for us on the rainbrow bridge but still we mourn. I have several in my back yard under a large shade tree and I feel they are with me always. My Zorro is also nearing his end, poor baby came to us when somebody pitched him from a moving car ripping up his little feet. It took over a year to mend his feet, then he got a rare infection on his tail that was not curable and had to have his tail amputated, then all the meds he was on for his feet caused him to lose his sight and now he has a large tumor growing in his chest. He's the sweetest guy in the world and the vet says he's in no pain but if he has trouble breathing we will need to do what is necessary. I grieve with you and know you'll be ok soon.
Wow your a very special person to have 8 of our little darlings. thanks for your kind words.
I'm so sorry Kerry, and all the words won't ease your hurt, but i do believe in the Rainbow Bridge and that all God's creatures are made whole and reunited with their human families in the beautiful beyond.
Thankfully he will no longer suffer and his love for you all saved you from having to make that final painful decision.
Hugs and sympathy to you my friend. xoxoxo M
Sorry to hear of Benny Cats passing. Pets are ourkindred spirits, you will never forget them. Like Brenda Lee, I believe my pets will be waiting in heaven for me. Take care.
Ardith

Kerry,
I am so sorry for the lost of your beloved Benny.
I know that in the years to come, your family will see things that will make you stop and think of him. And you will never forget the funny things and the joy the little guy so lovly gave to you. I too believe that our beloved four leg family memembers will be waiting for us at heavens'gates.
My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family.
May God send his angels to you.
with love, Brenda Lea
P.S. I too have had to say good-by to a beloved four legged family memember two days before Christmas 15 years ago. And still to this day, I still see things that make me think of Cookie.
We now have a 16 year old winner dog. Named Maxwell St.John Hoenshell. And he can no longer see, and can not hear to well. But he is still making us laugh and I know that he loves me.
animals I believe can love and give love. And it all depends on how they are treated by people. So about going on and on, but once I get started it's hard to stop. anyway my Emb. machine has stopped for a thread change. so I have to go. type at ya later-----
Brenda Lea, don't stop I love all you said, thanks it will keep me going. Absolutely they DO GIVE LOVE back, very much. We will never forget, unless I lose my memory.....
Sorry to hear about Benny My pets are like my children to me as i think alot of pets are to their owners its so sad when we loose one of them for whatever reason my thoughts are with you ******s for you
I am sorry to hear about Benny!!! You know, I reckon they know! He waited to say goodbye!!!! At least he no longer suffers pain...
Kerry, he will join all the other little fur people in animal heaven. Some believe they have no soul. I believe they do. They are too good to just go to dust. There love is always unconditional and I believe that is the most important thing. He will always be your mate.
thanks Ricky, he will live on in our hearts forever. He fretted for us if we ever put him in a cattery when we took holidays, that is why the last 5 or so years we DH and I took seperate holls, and no more cattery......
