I see yhat you have got answers on your question, I will just welcome you on this site, there is a lot to see and to learn here and when you don't know something you can always ask and there will always be somebody that can help you. Enjoy your visits and hope to see projects posted as well. ENJOY

There really isn’t a place where you can find out how it works. I maybe wrong. You will find all the categories some being used some not. Voting request for instance is for the purpose to pool our votes on this site or others so it will be successful and becomes a freebie. Not everyone can afford the membership even though it is a great deal. Flowers are for fun. When you click on the green flower on the top right of the posting box it will turn orange and says “thanks” that means you gave that person a flower. Only one works per person per post. Any questions post it and you will find that you get plenty of answers. Enjoy.

Hi, Kagen! Welcome to the Cute Community!! You found the 'section' that explains all you ever wanted to know about Cute, and then some! Ok, requests for voting: some, but not all, of the designs in all 6 of the sections of Cute Embroidery are able to be voted on for the next day's free design. The design with the most votes for it that day becomes the next day's free design. We here in the community are a pretty good number, so Letvia has volunteered to take requests for designs & keep a voting list for us. She posts the requests, and we all go vote for that design. Usually there are enough of us here working together to get the design. In the case of alphabets, there are hundreds of people outside of the 'community' voting for them, so they usually go in letter order till they're finished. In order to vote, unless it says voting not available, you go to the design and click on it. In the upper right hand corner you'll see a 'vote' box, you just click on it. Usually it changes and says 'voted', but not always. You can only vote for each design once, but you can vote for as many as you like.

Flowers are the little flowers on the right, same line as your name. How many you have is listed under your avatar. When you click on the flower, it changes color, and you have given a flower to that person. Why? Because we like you!! They're given for good answers, helpful information, and just to be nice. What do they 'mean'? Only the site owner knows for sure (like Miss Clairol, hee hee hee), but we love giving & getting them, just to show appreciation for each other.

Anything I left out? Just ask!! You'll get lots of answers, I'm sure. And once again, a big Cute Welcome to you!! Marji

Kathy, I think membership to Cute is $30.00 for 6 months, and you can download all the designs in any area of the site, and all the new designs coming up for the next 6 months. It's a great deal, and then you don't have to worry about missing any alphabet letters, and can get any of the designs that can't be voted on. I do hope you can join, you will never be sorry!! Go to the link at the top "6 month membership", click on it and it will tell you more. From a member, believe me you'll enjoy it! And if (heaven forbid) anything happens to your computer, you can download all your designs from here again. Again, welcome!! Marji
