woke up this morning to 17F brrrrrrrrrrr gimme some heat!!!
OOOOH pass some of that to me! We are just getting cold and no thanks for it! Beautiful blue skies and 26 degrees!
Looks lovely, know we will be having the same here in Montreal before too long. Did see a few flakes last night but nothing that stayed. I am flying out of here to Mexico for my nieces wedding Sunday so hope the weather cooperates...My sister & I come back from Florida through your area but in April, don't dare go that way going down...we go by Detroit in January...Don't really mind the changing seasons, don't think I would like not having them...Enjoy your snow !!!
I'm not too far from Deb, and my house looks just like that, my pine tree, too!! Cool! It's a pain to shovel when you get blasted with 3 feet all at once, but generally I don't mind the snow. Better than humid heat for me, easier to breathe. My little birds are gathered at the feeders now, I'm watching them as I type. All the cats are on the windowsills, the winter birds are the entertainment committee! Bright blessings to all, Marji
So pretty We don't have much snow here. but Thank You for sharing. A flower for you .
OK number 1) I NEVER complain about the heat because of that there white stuff, came from Md. and had my fill 2) We don't shovel anything down here except what falls behind the politicians! 3) if you hit a patch of sand it'll be just as slippery as black ice, so keep your pretty pictures and I'll continue to freeze at my 45 degree nights and 65 degree days for a week or so and then get back into the upper 70's where it belongs! :-)
I get tired of it about the middle of January and wish I could go south until April.
I think that this is beautiful, never experienced snow, not a fan of the cold weather though, would love to one day, where I am I hate the humidity!!
I'm a trans plant from southwest Georgia to northern Virginia going on 10 years. Believe it or not with the dampness in Georgia, humidity. It can feel a lot colder there then on some of the snowy filled days. The kind of cold the goes to the bones, like after you play in the snow. I just prefer not to be cold.
Beautiful! Wish we had some snow like that, just for a while, and without power problems. I hate the drizzle and rain we're having!
I am so jealous! Another year and a half until I get to make my move to a snowy environment - From California to Colorado. Send some snow my way, please. :)
Deb, that looks cold - I am happy with the weather that we have today - we had snow for a day last month - that was enough to scare us for a bit - the snow is in the mountains and the ski resorts are opening up - so all are happy as it is. BURRRRRR!
Heck NO it is not me complaining I woke up this morn to 26 degrees F brrrrrrrrr I hate winter and the cold *
I had my first and only White Christmas in Meadville, Pa. it wasn't there the day before but it snowed during the night, it was so magical for this heat loving Aussie.
I had never seen snow nor walked on snow before then and I loved the way it crunched under my shoes, I couldn't stop jumping in it and stomping all around. OK so I was a 'young' 50 year old. LOL!!!
I also cooked my, very first, Christmas turkey, glazed ham and Sweet Yams, for lunch, what a memory.
It was awesome!
I'd love to make this kind of memory with my DH one day. hugs n roses, M
The awesome beauty and the magic of the internet is, if I want to see snow I can google it. If I want to see blizzard I can google it. Unfortunately for me I live where I can live it :(
Meadville, Meganne you've got to be kidding me!! Meadville is only 30 miles from me!!! Beautiful little town, I know it well. What the heck was an Aussie doing in Meadville, of all unlikely places? Luv ya, Marji
My former husband was born there so we were visiting his relatives and I cooked Christmas dinner for his elderly Dad who had lost his wife the year before. It was wonderful! hnr, M
Now thats what my house looks like too up here in canada eh. We got over weekend 6 or more inches. Looks pretty but cold. Lisa
untouched snow is so beautiful... we have the cold weather here in missouribeen averaging about 30* but lucklily we only had flurries last saturday! thanks for sharing i love the way it looks! those are the kind of days that are good to build a fire, start a pot of chili and do some sewing!!!
I agree except the fireplace and sewing room are not on the same floor, so I have to choose. I do crochet by the fire, so I'm not idle.
Lordy mercy it is beautiful but please don't send any down south. I do not like being cold. *4U
Hope you keep it up there...but I know that here in Chicago the flurries we are having will soon turn to inches :(
It looks beautiful I would love to see snow. We are looking at a long hot summer with temperatures over the 105 degreees on most days
Dahlin' in the south we don't complain about the heat, it's the humidity.....Beautiful snow, and you can keep it up north, thanks! It was 51 degrees here and I was freezing all day.;)
wow... it is 80 in San Diego, California today and this picture looks really cold, I can't even imagine trying to keep warm.. we are so spoiled here.. kathy
I am in Riverside county (just north of
San Diego). Nice and warm, in the low 90's. Thankfully all the smoke from the fires is blowing the other way!
And we are complaining because it was 40 degrees this morning in Florida - and supposed to be colder tonight. This is very unusual for us this time of year. Maybe we will see snow!! Grandkids would love it.
Wow, Deb, where do you live again? I used to have a lot of snow, just like that, when I lived in MN a long time ago, have beautiful memories of that...
Miss the picture. 6pm and we are having large size snow showers but not expected to amount to anything in our part of the state.
Well, I did upload some pictures, not sure what happened. I'll try again.
