her time. She is still trying. She can't hear, but she is still able to see and she wants to know every ones name who comes in and performs any test. She makes them lean over until she can read their name badge. I have not had Internet so I am here briefly. Love you, Kay

I pray that the move goes well. Maybe the rehab will do more for her. Stay well. Hugs to you.

Kay, it is not uncommon for them to do that especially when she is unable to hear and answer their questions, but I would politely walk out into the hall and tell them that she is still very much in the game and also tell the patient liason, who should take care of the matter promptly. Be well.

Thanks 4 the update Katy, Have had the 2 of u so much on my mind, Yes they should have already had her up. Katy sometimes u have to b agressive with people, talk with the Dr. if u want them to get her up, tell him. It's what your mom wants really whatever she wants to do needs to b done. She sounds alert & wants to get better therefore they should b helping her reach her highest Quality of Life that's attainable 4 her.

I hope the move goes smoothly. Good for her to be inquisitive enough to want to know who comes in her room. You and your mom will stay in my prayers.

Makes you wonder what some people think...she is still a person and should be treated as so...my thoughts and prayers are with you and your mother.
