I don't know how I missed the lovely bells when they were first posted, so I am very happy they're still available. I think I'll add a name to use them as name tags on my Christmas gifts. Thank you!!
Anxious to try the fsl. Always try something NEW. Thank you.
You will likely be as addicted as the rest of us once you start stitching FSL. It is wonderful and so fun. Enjoy!

Just wanted you to know I have made several of these in different colors, and also used someones sugestion for using serger thread, and they all sewed out beautifully!!! Sew many Thanx to you for this design. You make many happy people. Hugs, Judy
Thank you for the ornament. It will also make a great tie-on for my gifts.
What a lovely bell design you've made. Thanks for your generosity in sharing it& God's blessings.:~D
this design is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Do I need special design software to do FSL, and I can do typical digitizing. Do you know if Brother Pes has the tools to do FSL? Thanks!
A beautiful design. As I am new to embroidery and do not have software to digitize designs, is it possible to get this in ART format.
Thank you for your beautiful work.
I have been making this bell design for my son's wedding and was having problems with it (though my first 2 a few weeks ago were perfect) so I did them on 4 layers of fiber wss and they came out very nice. I run warm water over them for a moment and then lay flat to dry and they are nice and stiff.
I just made these bells and they turned out beautiful! Thank you so much!
Awesome bells, and no jump stitches, impressive. I am still learning to digitize, thank you so much for the lovely design.
Thank you very much it is very nice, but is it necessary to soaked it for so long time? When I soaked the FSL I made, I only soaked it for a minute or to and it is very stiff and fine, exactly as I will have it.
Thank you very much. And especially love that there are NO jump stitches. I wish more designs in FSL had no jumps stitches.
Is this something hard to achieve or is it from lack of experience with the digitizer?
*4U
Obtaining no jump stitches is very time consuming. I manually digitize each stitch to obtain this. There are easier ways to digitize FSL but you end up with jump stitches. If you see a design that has a lot of jumps, it is usually because they didn't take the time to digitize the design without them, then of course some jump stitches can not be avoided.
Thank you so much for your explanation. I know nothing about digitizing, nor do I anticipate learning any day soon. :-)
However, I for one appreciate so much that you and other digitizers do take the time to eliminate as many as you can of those pesky jumps for us.
I stitched a purchased design other day and it reminded me of a tennis match. That thing would stitch a little at the top, then run to the bottom, then back to the top. The jumps were at least 2 or more inches long.I about wore my fingers out stopping and starting my machine to clip them...top and bottom! LOL
Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful designs and for taking your time to make stitching a pleasurable experience with beautiful results to be proud of.
Thanks for your wonderful design. I stitched it out and placed a layer of mylar over the design before it finishet stitching. It turned out great!!!
thanks again.
Why is it important to slow the machine? I am still learning every day. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
my experiences with lace embroidery FSL is, that you can see all "threadbrakes" easily. There is no sheet of fabric to hide a double layed thread.
You can see everything - so it's better to slow down the machine to prevent threadbreaking - I do so also with very thin fabrics like silk or organza - I always take a little more time for embroydering instead of starting a new piece.
I expect a lower success to enjoy more if it is working and stitching out great.
The enemy of craftig is lack of time and hurry.
Have fun during your expierences as I have!

Such delicate& beautiful bells. Thanks much for your generousity to share your design &God's blessings. :^D
What beautifully done bells in lace. Thanks so much for your generosity to share the design & God's blessings.:^D
This is beautiful and I plan to stitch it out right away.Thank you very much.
ciao, grazie per il ricamo, sono bellissime le campanelle in pizzo, grazie ciao
Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I will do more FSL designs as time permits. My daughter is having her first baby in 3 months so I am getting ready for that. She has given me a long list of things to embroidery.
Stitched it out tonight (April 29, 2009); beautifully digitized! Thanks! Do you have any more?
Where do you slow down the stitching with an embroidery design. I thought you sewed it as it was given as the machine would do it's own thing??? Is there somewhere in my editing I can do this or need to? I hv a Brother Innovis 4000.
Hi, I have a Brother ULT 2002D and it has 3 sewing speeds. I do normal sewing on the highest speed and do FSL on the slowest speed. If you only have one speed on the machine, then you don't have an option. Hope this answers you question. Gigi
vielen dank wundervoll

It is a beautiful bell design and will be my first attempt at lace. Thank you so much for sharing. *4U
How generous of you! Thanks a million! I have started to digitize myself and know how much work is involved in getting something "THIS" beautiful! Hugs and lots of Flowers to you! Mary
I just wanted you to know that I stitched out this bell and it turned out so beautiful. It stitches easy and with no problems. I've already made a few for some special gifts for family. I used Sulky white top and bobbin and the results were lovely. Thank you for sharing this design with us all...........Maria in sunny Florida
why caan't we download this in other format (art) Marie Lehmann South Africa.
You can easily get conversion software for free (for instance Wilcom Truesizer, which gives you the possibility to resize as well - not recommended for FSL) and converse to a lot of different formats, but not to ART, alas. That company guards there software.
Thank You so much for this lovely bell. Would you mine doing a snowman for me. Please!

VERY VERY PRETTY. TOO LATE TONIGHT TO STITCH THIS. I WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW. THANKS SO MUCH!
Thank u so much for the bells,a beautiful addition to the christmas tree *4U
I have been machine embroiderying now for two years and am still learning how to digitize. How are you able to do designs with no jump stitches. What is the secret?
The "secret" is to use connection stitches. This is not possible all the time especially if you are changing colors or doing parts of the design that do not connect to other parts of the design like facial features.
Thank you for spending the time to answer my question. In your work, do you always start in the middle and go out, or out toward the middle?
Hi again, On the FSL I start on the outside in one corner. On regular designs I study the picture and start with the object that is behind the next object. It is hard to explain but each design is different.
i think it is a lovely design will look nice on a background of dark blue for a card
Thank u so much it is very beautiful and cant wait to stitch it out. Lisa
