Thanks those are just right I think.

A doily that could pass as a snowflake... hoping...

Click on Designs on the left handside.
Click on the set called "Lace and Applique Doilies"
Scroll to the bottom of the page.

She also has some other freebies, I think that there are some freestanding crosses if you go to Machine Embroidery freebie designs.

If all else fails, how about this doiley?

I had downloaded a free one from daintystitches, but I can't find it in her freebies pages, but she has some other freestanding designs there, you might want to take a look and see what you find. Some bookmarks, a coin purse, some pockets, and some little things to hang from anywhere (they have like the little loop at the top to hang them. She has a doily and some little baskets (bowls) here are the links.

I will look for more.
