Shirlene is without doubt the FSL Queen here, but I don't think she'll mind me answering.
Firstly, what type of WSS are you using and how many layers?
FSL is very dense and your WSS needs to be able to stand up to the repeated insertion of the needle.
I only ever use FABRIC type WSS, two layers, hooped opposite to each other, In other words cut your two layers, hoop one North/South the second layer East/West. Some threads do not stitch well regardless and you may even have to loosen your upper tension on others. You may be stitching it out too fast.
You may even need to change your needle as FSL requires a good sharp needle to stitch cleanly.
I hope i have given you some suggestions for you to solve your problem. Hugs n roses and a big welcome to our Cute family, Meganne
Will add another layer of WSS and change my needle. I have already slowed the speed, will keep trying because FSL is beautiful! Thanks
Hi mamsie,
Do you do FSL often? Have you had issues before? How are you hooping it, perhaps you don't have enough WSS, you may need to add a layer.
Where did you get the bookmark? Maybe it's the design and not you.
Only starting out on FSL so the problems are new ones, hooped with one layer will add another and try again. Thanks
if you look at the bottom of most any of the pages i beleive. but anyway its under "Terms and disclaimers". i found this group of letters very hard to find how about you? Warm hugs and flowers to you As for your bookmarks I don't have a clue on that part. Is it just one of them or all you try to do?
Thanks, never thought to look there! I have only just started with FSL and have made 3 differnt book marks and another repeat of one - off the 4 only 1 is ok the others pull loose at different places.
I found it through a link someone left here a few days ago. If you look back in the posts you will probably find it. It's been a few days. Good luck.
