see you have not bought the machine. When you get your hopes up and you dont get it you do feel sad. BUT there will be a better one somewhere... there is a reason why you didnot get it. To the next one that comes along. *4u
Just to tell that I didnt get the machine. It went to 3.550 dollars! Go for a newer model...eventually :) Thanks for all comments, I really appreciated your advices. Love you all, Yoriko
oh well, wasn't feeling that was ment to be, however, I still have the GPS :) Let's go for a drive soon! Love, Yoriko
Morning Yorkio, I am with Louise, go for it, this is where I buy all of my embroidery cottons from, have no trouble, and as Louise says they have an ebay business, and with the amount of cottons and the hoops and the computer, there is your money let alone the machine, if its no good and you get, sell it!!! or give it away to Louise and myself!!! hahahahaha!!!!
Looking forward to hearing if you bought or not...
What did you ever decide about the machine, Yoriko? It seems like this machine was used by the people selling it for thier commercial embroidery business. I wonder if they could tell you who services it for them, and where you can get parts, etc. Seems like a pretty good deal with all the thread, hoops, machine cabinet, etc., but only if you're going to use it, and if you actually CAN use it, being that it's an older model. I wonder how you would get designs to it? Would it be compatible with XP or Vista? You know, Janome has that small commercial machine (4 head?) now, I saw it at my dealer, I think it's around 6,000 USD, and that's brand new, state of the art. I love to watch that thing run, hee hee hee. Best of luck, Marji
One thing u need to consider Yoriko is who would work on it if it needed it. I would talk to repair people or dealers & get some info on this. If u have a problem u want to know there is someone near to help u out. *4U
Thanks you, Lilian. It's a good advice. I think the big problem is if I ever need parts for it, it seems they are not longer available...
Oh Yoriko i say go for it.
( I want it!!!can't afford it but i want it!!got no where to put it but I want it !!!)
It is from creekcreations they have a good e-bay rating and would not tarnish that by selling a dud machine. It's a good price to see if you like the big machine! If you can get it cheap enough go for it...Your friend Louise
Hello Yoriko, just letting you know that the machine I now use came from ebay, and its in excellent condition.. And why wouldn't this be a good machine, if I had a husband and he wanted to buy this for me, I would go for it!!! If its no good just resell it!!! And as there are no bids, you might get it for less than the buy it now price!!! Whatever, its your decision, And doesn't toyota make excellent cars!!
oh Gosh, Sheryl. He just got me a GPS. Anyway, this is handy too, I can visit my friends without getting lost. :)
Don't forget me, i'll come too ;) I don't have GPS but i have a good street directory...Louise
I looked at the picture that you provided. It seems to me that the machine is quite dated, because all the newer models have bigger screen and screen touchable and this picture machine still has the buttons to push. The other thing is most newer models have adjustable arms. One more observation is the machine seems very heavy, so you will need someone to help you to move in and out for service. The last noticable evidence is the newer models have only one adjustable knob for each thread and this picture machine has two. What I am trying to say is that older model is harder to find parts to replace and the hoop sizes are smaller. To take all the above facts as consideration, I highly recommand you that don't buy this machine. On the other hand, industrial machine does work better and faster than home machine. If I were you, I either bite the bullet buy newer model one or walk as far away as possible. That is just my engineering sense of advice.
:D Just love the way you explain things! I've walked as far away as possible already. Thank you Soi! :)
I personally would not buy something like this off ebay, I would like to see, touch, try out, before I buy. what ever you decide, happy sewing...
Yes, I also think it's too risky buying something like this without seeing it. Thank you for your advice, Kezza.
Hi Yoriko, yes it`s a big machine alright. I have heard that Toyota is not a good brand of machine. I don`t know if it is true or not. Be careful.....
Have you seen this? IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY (I don't) it is a good deal.

WOW, that is a big machine - you should follow the advice given and go with what you know about the machine and what you feel you should do for you at this time. Good luck!
Thank you for your advice, Shirlene! As I said, I dont know if I really want one of those machine...I rather have a better software to digitize.
I have a 4 needle machine and wished it had more. They are fairly simple to operate and ideal for larger orders. But buying a machine on e-bay, unseen, I don't know. I would make sure I could get it serviced and look at the Toyota site for prices. 10 years is a very long time in machine embroidery, there may have been large improvements made, especially in that computer panel.
Thank you for your advice, Martine. I wish I knew Cute family before buying my machine. I want a bigger hoop.
By the way, you are in my prayers, Martine. I hope everything works out for you, my friend.
How old is it??? Do they have a maintance record you could see????
It's Toyota 820, model 1998. They say it is working perfectly, but I never even saw one in real life. It's on ebay, australia. Do you think I can put a link here?
I don't see why not..although i it i a really good deal one of us may try t out bid you...lol

There is not bid yet. It ends on 30th. I wonder how difficult is handle a machine like that?
I hope you didn't think I as serious...I was really just kidding. if you like it I hope that you can gt it...

Here's the machine.
Sorry I can't help. This big machine is only in my dreams. hee hee. I'm fortunate to have what I do. Someone will come along and be able to help. What brand is it? How large of a design can it stitch? Looks like it would be a dream to stitch on.
It's a dream for me too, Deborah, but my husband wants to buy it for me, and I'm not sure if I really want it...
