Don't know how the site came to be, but happy it is here and so many people willing to help others. What a difference this site makes for many each day. The time it must take to make all this happens has to be mega mega.....

Hi Auntie, this site can be very confusing to new members, mainly because there have been major changes made by Miss V (after being requested by the members) to try and make the site more user friendly.

At the moment there are no real guidelines (By Miss V) as to how it is to be used, only that, as the (then) members requested a place for freebies; Miss V created the Bookmarks Section - We requested to be able to write Private messages; so Miss V created the Private message section,,, We requested a way to search and Miss V created Tags, then Search boxes and so on and so on and so this marvellous community meeting place has grown and I'm sure has become very cumbersome for Veronika to manage.

Some of us take it upon ourselves to try and create order out of chaos, not because we consider we are 'in charge' but simply because we can and we feel we need to try and help make sense of it all.

Miss V is currently working on a major upgrade to this wonderful site, but it is painstaking and very time consuming work that is also very expensive if you have to pay Web-Developers to do it for you.

I am sure when Miss V started this site she had no idea it would become so popular and understandably she would be worried that if she changes it TOO much it will lose its appeal.

ONE thing I do know for sure, Troublemakers, Nastiness, Rudeness, Name calling, Backbiting, Slander, all those horrible traits we humans are capable of, are not tolerated nor accepted here.

We are all family and there is friendship, support, help and humour all offered with unconditional love, compassion and understanding. We are, after all, far more alike, than we are different.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this novel (LOL!) which is only one member's views on how it's supposed to work for all of us.

So welcome to the Cute family, and if you decide to stay I hope you find, as most of us have, that this is the nicest place to be on the Web.

auntie, there are no rules or guidelines at this time - do what you want where you want - as many other have and will continue to do - until there are some guidelines - however if you would like to do as many have realized helps the community you can post Q&A to embroidery and sewing in this section - personal things such as prayer request, family pictures, quotes or poems, funny stories, or just about any personal that you care to share in the personal tab, if you want to post a private message to another CUTE member by using their signin name you go to the private message tab - if you want to post about another site - there is a bookmark section in the top row - where anything about another site can be listed - the project section is for that any project that you are working on dealing with embroidery or sewing or crafts of some sort. But remember - this is your site as much as any other person and no one person is running it or policing it - but we all want it to flow well and to be used by any other member - so do as you feel that you can and how you can until there are guidelines set up to regualate it. It you want to post a PM to Veronika - to ask her the best way to post on the site you can do that through her sign on name of TEST - if you would like to contact me - do so with the signon name of shirlener88 - thank you for asking, Shirlene

no we do not pay attention to the people to the highest number they do not own the site veronica is the owner and she will just make more tabs for where we post things so feel free to post till this happens ok? welcome to the family
