All I have to say is, watch out for those doggone attachments, they can be expensive! A cautionary tale: I innocently took a ruffler foot class at my dealer for the cheap generic ruffler foot I already owned. I was using it on my 40 year old JC Penney cast iron machine, or rather, NOT using it, and I wanted to get my $4 worth out of my ruffler foot. Well, it didn't work like everyone else's, and I had a heck of a time with the foot pedal on my machine, think I was making ruffles at about 60mph. Not good. Why is everyone else's working so well? Hmmm, they are using new Janome computerized machines with speed control. Hmmm, they are using a $25 ruffler foot that really works better than mine. Well, about $275 later, I can now make perfect ruffles. I have a new foot to go on my new Janome machine. LOL LOL LOL. Not that I DO make ruffles, understand, but if I ever want to I CAN make perfect ruffles. Hee hee hee, I'm off to watch your videos, Teri, to see what I would want to make ruffles FOR, hee hee hee. At least I know it won't cost me more money, hubby's gone & he was the one who supported my 'habit'. Thanks for the info. I'm still giggling about the ruffler foot. Love you, Marji
Teri, thank you for the info - this looks like a new attachment that I will have to put on my wish list - espeacially if you are having so much fun using it. Hehehe!
The one I got from the dealer is NOT a BL attachment and was only 18 bucks... works perfectly... well made.
