Sorry, don't know anything about that machine, but I got the 1500 D and love it. Aside from a few getting to know it problems. I really wanted a 12x12 hoop size, but can't afford THAT machine. LOL
I say go for it. Have you tried it out? I played with mine at the store before I bought it. As well as some others before settling on this one.

Thanks Cracker, no I haven't tried it, can't sit down long enough for that. But I think i'll get it, anyway. It's not as expensive, or as heavy, as my main one, so if it breaks down too, I'll just take it back to the dealer and throw it at him. (yeah, right!!! LOL) hugs n roses, M

I sell these machines and demo them all day. It is the one I will be buying in Jan for lace and stitch outs. My current machine is a babylock asante with 4,000,000 stitches. They are very reliable machines. The usb mach is easier to get designs to.

Hi Meg... is this the Quattro by chance? I'm not sure how Brother names and numbers their machines, but their latest one is the same as the Baby Lock Ellisimo... I've used it at my friend's house and it works extremely well! Great engineering with a sewing/embroidery perspective... :-)

No, it is not the same as the Quattro. An I agree with you they are pretty good machines.

Sorry Terri I ran out of time to answer this, this morning. It's just a very basic embroidery only machine with a maximum hoop size of 5x7 but it would give me access to Licenced Disney designs and i would also be able to test stitch my designs at least in .pes format on a more realistic home type machine.
Mind you, @ $1,600 AUD including software, I don't think it is a cheap machine but probably closer to the kind a lot of home embroiderers can afford to buy, so I think it would give me fairer representation of how my designs will stitch out for most people.

And then I can stop annoying all my friends to help me test stitch designs.

I don't think I could go far wrong with a Brother and I really miss my machine and am beginning to get really upset seeing everyone else enjoy my designs when I can't even stitch them out myself>.

I have an old Brother 190D stand-alone. A great workhorse, but limited to 4x4. Nice for testing or for the in-built Disney designs. And my daughter still embroiders with my 1993 Galaxy, 4x4 also. So that says a lot about the quality of Brother machines. I don't know anything about the 750D though. Hope you get some good advice from other owners!
