1. Turn OFF your pop-up blocker. 2.Click on the free design for the day. 3. Just below it next to where you choose your format, you will see "click here to vote this site", do that. 4. You will then be on a mostly blank page that says, "Enter this site." click there. You have voted and CANNOT VOTE AGAIN for 24 hours, either exactly or just more than 24 hours between votes. 5. Turn your blocker back on.

And does it matter if the pop-up is on or off to count. (from another computer dummie)

Anyone voting from a link other than the one under the daily freebie, please take note. The link must have all this information in it!! I have added the link below that will make sure you vote for Cute. Please put it wherever it is you put your saved links. In order to be counted as an "in" vote for Cute, you have to go to Embroidery Top from the Cute site. The link you use MUST have this information after embroiderytop.com. it must say /top/rankem.cgi?id=aborable. When you put your mouse pointer over a link, in the bottom bar of the window you're in, starting at the left hand side, you will be able to see the complete address of the link you're going to. To the best of my knowledge, the numbers do not change like they do on Veronika's sites when you vote for a letter or a design. You won't see them change, but you have voted if you click on 'enter this site' and then on the Cute banner. Keep up the good work!!! Hugs, Marji

yes, if your pop-up blocker was turned off it will count as long as it has been 24 hours since you last voted.

It seems I have wasted time clicking all this time, as I had my pop-up blocker ON.
I'm wondering, even now that is OFF, the number of votes doesn't change when I vote, is that ok?

Yes, you will not be able to see the number change when you vote. (if you close that link and go back there, you will be able to see that it has changed with your vote)

OK Now I am really confused!?!?!? Don't mean to sound stupid, but I only learned how to turn a comp on 6 months ago. What is a pop-up blocker & how do I turn it off & on. Thought I had been voting, but maybe not!!!!!!(trying to teach an old dog new tricks)

A popup blocker is usually a part of your firewall/anti-virus protection. If you get popups when you go to some websites (popups are little windows that open, usually advertising for something, that You didn't open, when you go to some sites) then you don't have a popup blocker or don't have it turned on. Please do not go on the internet downloading anything without good virus protection, Macafee, Norton, big names, OK? Way too much can happen to your machine that you yourself will never be able to fix, and it will cost you big bucks. Hugs, Marji

I have been going straight to this link http://www.embroiderytop.com clickED on cute and then waited for next page that says "EnTer this site" and then clicked on "Enter this site"DO YOU MEAN THAT IF WE GO DIRECT THAT OUR VOTE DOES NOT COUNT??????????

Um, ok, my mistake, I thought your link had just been shortened by the computer as it often does. Your like is the 'public' link for Embroidery Top, as if you had found it on the internet. You have indeed been wasting your time. The link you need to use is http://www.embroiderytop.com/top/... In order to have votes count for Cute, it has to have all that stuff after the dot com. Sorry about that, I'm going to write another tutorial. Hugs, Marji

Just voted and the difference between 2 and 3 is getting smaller and smaller. This afternoon it was 42 and now 31. So we are very close. Cuties vote all and tomorrow we can be #2.

That's how I've been doing it. I can't vote at the same time every day, so I jot down the time that I voted on a piece of scrap paper. That way I don't waste my vote. Let's move Cute back to the second spot!
