Does anyone know what the "Flowers" are, how do you get them, and why do I want them? hehehe

I'm so pleased that jrob has raised the "flower" intrigue once again, as I, being a new member, had no idea what they represented. However, I did figure out that you received one after logging in but didn't know how to hand them out. Now I do!!!
Here's a flower for you jrob for raising the subject again, hoping it turns into a posie.

To all you lovely people out there who don’t have many flowers, I feel sooo sorry for you – but don’t worry. The way I see it, IF there is a reward it won’t be for the person with the most flowers, because that just wouldn’t be fair on people who are newcomers, or just haven’t answered many questions etc. It would have to be something reasonable. So, until all is revealed, just enjoy giving and receiving the flowers. For myself I think it’s fun and just simply give flowers to everyone – and guess what – as fast as I give them away they seem to come back to me. You people are beautiful and are at the top of my list for friendliness and helpfulness. I love this site.

I was just playing/joking below when I said I didn't have enough flowers - hope no one took me too seriously & thought I was truly complaining! I think the flowers are fun! Tee-hee, Ruthie was in this thread three times so I got to give her three flowers just in this message thread!

ruthie by ruthie 19 Jan 2008

Thanks for the flowers ladies - back at you. Ravyn keep joking, that's what makes this site lighthearted and fun whilst at the same time helping people.

ruthie by ruthie 19 Jan 2008

Help - can someone please tell me how I can give Silver a flower, don't seem to be able to find her name with a flower next to it. Sorry Silver - there's one on it's way as soon as I find out how! Maybe we need to be able to give flowers for comments.

Jrob, I’m guessing this site acquires new members every day, which means that every day there’s a new group of people wondering what the flowers are – so I’m not surprised your question has surfaced again. It will probably re-appear in another 7 months!!! Plus it proves that it’s worth leaving all the old questions there for everyone to read, I’ve discovered a wealth of info just from reading the ‘old’ questions - I suggest everyone should read them.

yes, but it did take me by surprise, I actually didn't know what they were for at the time....

ruthie by ruthie 18 Jan 2008

We still don't really know what they're for, but I guess one day we will!

Well, somebody's reading all our old stuff anyway, so that's good, right? All our great wisdom is still there to be found, like buried treasure, rotfl, but there were lots of good answers and info. I enjoyed reading all the Q&A, sometimes didn't notice the little grey time of the Q. Think I answered a few questions like that myself. Hey, here's a flower, it was & still is a good question, jrob. I think those with enough flowers ought to get to meet the digitizer in person & shake her hand. Boy she does good work.

I too was curious and asked about the flowers and from what I gathered they're as a token of appreciation of an answer or info thats helpful to ones question. Anyone can send one but it was to remain a mystery and the site administrator will announce the true meaning in the future???

It's a mystery, butterfly, but they're fun to send to our friends, like you. Here's your flower!

The little flowers are fun. But I enjoy the conversation and site, even without them I would like stopping by.

I don’t know about you people, but even if there’s no reward for the flowers I’m having fun sending them to my friends on this site. So flowers to you all. Have a good day everyone.

Also wondered about the "Flowers". If I could I would give you "Flowers" Cutiepie. For that matter to anyone who would like one. I hope there is a purpose to them.

You can give anyone a flower, Sonje, just click on the orange flower by their name, watch it turn grey, and the + number will change! Ok, now we all expect flowers, Sonje, he he he. Here's one for you!

silver by silver 18 Jan 2008

No need to suffer Sonja...have a flower on me!

I asked that very question myself, and this is the answer (in part) that I recieved:

"Cuteembroidery.com is conducting testing at the present time. Flowers will be used to provide new and additional benefits to users of Cuteembroidery.com."

I'm not sure of any further details, but they seem to be a good thing to be collecting. As for how you get them, I believe that you get one each day (once every 24 hour period) that you visit the site. In addition, it appears that we can now get them from others on this site extension, in response to questions and answers. =] Anyone want to give me a flower? =D

I don't mind giving you one, but how will I ever catch up with jrob and you?!

dlonnahawkins by dlonnahawkins 16 Jan 2008

We can only hope that we can catch up, right? I have not been to the site for very long, but really love it. Good luck to you with your collection of flowers.

clawton by clawton 18 Jan 2008

Thanks for the information. I never paid too much attention to the numbers until reading the questions and trying to find a real answer.

silver by silver 18 Jan 2008

Awwww... of course you can have one of my flowers... anytime you want CutiePie, just ask!
