Vote at least 24hours & 5 minute from your last vote to make it count

Ok, this is my understanding of the voting. There are two columns at Embroidery Top, In and Out. When you go to ET from Cute, it counts as 1 'in' vote. If you then click on Cute again, to return to the website, it counts as one 'out' vote. What I am wondering is this: if we do not go to ET from the link provided here on Cute, but instead from a link pasted into the forum, does the ET computer still recognize that vote as coming from Cute? I always vote from the link provided on the free design download page, just to make sure. And just for everyone's information, the Embroidery Top site is set up with that front page where you have to "click here" to enter the site, because that prevents any kind of automated voting by anyone. It takes a person to point the mouse & click, in that way it's kind of like a firewall for ET. Somebody please correct me if I'm not understanding how to vote correctly, ok? Thanks loads, Marji

Wendy, are you saying that because there are more "Out" votes that those are the ones we are missing having counted? People entering the site from any of the others listed can choose to go to cute via the "Out" so that is not necessarily the case. Anyway, we do need to continue to vote.

Does Sick have a way to have you cast a vote for them jsut by entering their site???

I don't think so. I think it would be wrong to set up a site to automatly vote as some people don't want to vote. Also some days there is only 2 votes for the sick site so this would not be so.

I keep a spreadsheet on Excel I write the time of when I click on 'vote for this site then when I enter the site I write the in & out numbers down for both Sick & Cute, I have formated the cells so they tell me how many votes since I was last on for both sites and over the last week I added another format to tell me what the differance is between the sites

over the last hour the IN vote have gone up by 1 & the OUT votes up by 7 for cute. for sick o & 2

Where do you get those statistics, especially the missed votes? I try to vote more or less at the same time each day, but don't write down exact times.
