I always rub my hands with some olive oil and add some kitchensalt to it. It's a nice scrub after the scrub I was my hands just with fluid handsoap (no water added) after washing rinse your hands with warm water and use some handcream after that. I have never ever had such soft hands. I have to try this one too. Thanks Maria
Thank you. Another one to be added to my collection of helpful hints. Some of these old remedies are so good.
Maria, you need to write a book of your family recipes... :-) Is this a Cuban tradition? I'm going to cook that chicken recipe you gave me this weekend... Jim's excited. xoxo
Sounds delicious! I think I remember somebody like Bath & Body Works selling a Brown Sugar scrub some years ago. Making your own would be much cheaper. I'm going to have to try it, thanks Maria!! Love you, Marji
She did not lanolin back then, but adding a few drops of lanolin will make it work better. I am making some little canning jars with it right now...
I had never heard that one - I heard the other day that using oil oil on you dry lips will heal and soften them in a day - I tried that one, and it did work! Thanks for sharing this one.
Bet ya don't mind lickin your fingers either:) Tee Hee Te He !
