Yoriko was so sweet, and helped me with this design for my youngest GD's wall hanging. This says, "Nicole - lady bug.(cute bug)" - She is 12 years old, and got her junior black belt in Karate when she was still 10 years old. She is redoing her room with the Oriental theme. When she was little we used to call her "Lady Bug", for she was so tiny and used to flit from place to place so quickly. I stitched out on silk dupioni, and added the borders to go with her room theme. That is some slick stuff to try to work with, but Yoriko did an excellent job with the hiragami digitizing. I used the little lady bug from the applique here at Cute. I combined to make it the cluster of 3, and did not do the applique. I just stitched the design on the silk. I sure hope that she likes this one. I have black and red fuzzies, and threads all over my sewing room.

yes, I did this on silk. I have now put the label on the back, and cleaned up the mess, and got this put into the gift bag. I am starting to wear down, and still have so much to do.
