I have just stitched out a FSL Angel which I got from Embroidery library which I saw on the projects page. It is not very stiff and it won't stand up alone, so I soaked in a sugar and water solution but this didn't help much either. Can someone tell me how they have done it as in the pictures they look like they stand up OKay

Thanks

If you disolve the water soluable stabalizer in a small bowl make sure it has a tight lid to save it for future projects:)

My solution gets mouldy after a week or so, so make small quantities.

You can add a small cap of rubing alcohol to it and it help you preserve it for a bit longer.

Dixie, the sugar water solution is not strong enough for your FSL Angel Tree Topper - I am assuming that is the one you are speaking of - when you downloaded that from Emblibrary - it also had a project instruction page - it is always a good idea to read those - their tips are the best for their projects and also work for many others, too. They suggest using some spray starch or you can use some scraps of your WSS - disolve in water - and place you angel bottom in this - drab off the excess water and allow to dry - place it on a coke bottle or something that it can get air around it without disturbing the shape of the skirt - hope this helps.

Thank you Shirlene I will try this, thanks I thought you would probably have a answer as you do a lot of FSL designs
