woohoo you are lucky to have such a thoughtful huny! I can't help with your question but flowers for you and your DH for being so thoughtful!
I have a Viking with green bobbins also, and I had a sidewinder. but it wound them backwards. You would have to put the bobbins in upside down, and you can't because they won't fit that way. Haven't been able to find any that works for Viking, if you find one, please let me know. *4U
If you find out let us know I have the side winder to and it won't work on my viking. Just on my kenmore sewing machines.
I believe you may have to turn the bobbins upside down and there was something else, brain fog prevents me remembering where i read it, but give me time and i'll find it for you.
hugs n roses, M
My friend solved this problem...but for the life of me I can't remember what she did! I'll email her & ask her to check & see if she can answer your question. You might also check out the site somuch4retirement. I'll add the link. She is great with all kinds of questions related to Viking. Go to "tips" and scan around and see if you find something realting to the sidewinder. Hope you get some help.
I do not know, but here is a flower 4U and keeping you post up so you can find some help.
It may NOT be your bobbin...IT may be the winder...I had trouble with mine when I first got it...I found that I had to add more tension between the spool and the bobbin for it to wind properly. I threaded it thru one of those packing peanuts..I still have to stand and watch each bobbin from start to finish:(
