Unfortunately when you download a "free" design you can't always be sure it is good, that's why it is wise to test these designs first rather than use it on the finished product. That is maybe only one of the reasons your having trouble.
I agree and it was just a square for a little girl quilt so no real harm done but they were just so darling, I'm just a little disapointed I guess. Oh well back to the drawing board. Thanks for your input.
What is the design name? I will test one if you like..just need the exact one that failed for you. I have used many free from the site and no problems yet.

Go to 'dolls and toys' and they are the first two by Karen Shepherd. I've always had great luck at 'ann' but these are so sweet and just don't sew, thanks for any help you can give.
Did you have to convert the file to your own format? If so, you might need to use a different software to convert. Some programs don't talke to each other well. If not, contact Ann and let her know. They give samples so you can test their designs. She will want to know if you're having problems.
I did need to convert to my VP3 but have never had a problem before, they are just so cute.........
Try going through your software if you have either 3D or 4D. I looked at it in the software, and it looked okay. Sometimes putting the PES format into the software helps.
I personally have never used the designs from that site, but, Did you download them at the same time? You mentioned that they were free, could you possibly go back and download them again? I have had that work for me on occasion.
