Very cold here -17C and the wind is bitter, lots of snow and ice so walking is a bit tricky..took the time to clean up my hoops today as they were kind of gringy from the sticky spray, they look good as new and ready to start on another rag quilt. My grandson thought he should have one too when he saw the grand-daughter's, even gave me the colours yellow & blue and a little boy fishing,....Have a wonderfull year everyone...
Jan - I would suggest before you sit down to the PC - you put something to stitch on your embroidery machine - stop what you are doing and get to that embroidery - with each color change - stop and do it - you need the rest and the movement between what you are doing on your PC - anyway - so try to get to some of those wonderful designs that you have collected - you have a large investment in that machine and it would be a shame not to use it. Hugs, Shirlene
Thanks Shirlene, great idea - but I still tend to get stuck on the computer and forget the machine!
I know what you mean by the addiction to collecting patterns. My sleep time is dwindeling to nothing. My bedroom/sewing room is becoming a mess. (Hubby told me to clean it up today..ouch) The weather here is rainy, very windy, and yucky. Don't even want to attempt going out. Machine is on, but not going..I am having a hard time also getting it operating. but * are wonderful to collect, so here is one 4u
I know what you mean, except it's cold and swowy here in NW Pennsylvania. If it were nice out, I would be outside in the garden. However, I've been giving my sewing machine a break:) and trying to straighten up my craft area. I've been thinking about test stitching a few designs I digitized before the holiday rush, but can't seem to get to it:-D
I think it takes a new project to get inspired even though I still have a few that are not finished yet.
Happy New Year to you too. Here we are iceskating in front of the house as you can see on this image.
