I'am also one of these people that don't post offen but I just had to respond to this....I'am sick too Breast Cancer again and if it wasn't for my embroidery habit somedays I don't think I would make it!! So nice to read your letter. My niece is 25 , very much a lady but loves nothing better than dooing woodwork, and has also just taken engine out of her Tata Truck to repair it. I am so glad that you did not let narrow minded people keep you from our group. I dont get to post that often, as I have 2 babies and stay at home full time, but I love coming here and talking to everyone and reading tips and tricks and you always have great places to find alphas!

I don't know what has been going on in my absence but whatever happened and whoever has caused you hurt, they will be punished in due time. We have a saying here in Australia: "What goes around, comes around." And it always does.

There is no room here at Cute for petty bickering and although I have had words to say on certain matters in the past, it is always in an effort to encourage people to be the "best" they can be and remember we are, ALL OF US, fellow human beings, just looking to live each day and perhaps touch and contribute, in a positive way, to others we may meet along the way.

We should all endeavour to "DO NO HARM" in our dealings with others as only if we are generous, loving and caring and free of spite, can we truly call ourselves Christians.

I've just caught up with the hullaballoo regarding vitriolic e-mails to you Eric, and am delighted that the support of your true friends has helped you decide to return (and ignore such intolerant ignorance and bigotry). Makes you the stronger person...I had the weird mental picture just now of lots of middle-aged and older women donning armour in your defence... of course it's just my silly sense of humour kicking in. But I'm so glad you're back amongst us where you belong. As ezzemml said 'On ya mate'!

It is a lesson for me also not to allow the 'rotten apples' to affect me, something I tend to do too often.. I read your profile just now, and Holy Cow, you are quite an accomplished seamstress and very talented person of which you should be very proud. WOW Wish we lived close to each other, what fun that would be! I am Texan born and lived in the Abilene area until 1989, then transplanted to Florida, but my heart is still deep in the heart of Texas!

I hope to see you around when I get a chance to visit this site. I had no idea what had happened until I started reading. All the times I've visited here, everything has been friendly.

Hey, cool! Another transplanted Texan. Maybe we can have a 'family' reunion and all fly in and get together at Eric's. We can all bring our sewing machines and our collections of alpha's of course!
