bkd If my memory serves me right I believe it was Mickey/celticlady who first mentioned embroidery on papertowels here at cute. Iris I think has steered u in the right direction. I, too prefer redwork or outline designs for paper towels & it's done the same as TP but Paper toweld r a little more firmer and to me easier than Tp *

you embroider at the thirth or fourth leaf from the end. I strengened it with thin vilene after the first try when the paper tore, fix it with spray adhesive on tear away stretched in the hoop. After embroidering remove it carefully from the hoop, fold over the 2 of unembroidered leaves, fix it with a little glue. Leave about 4 sheet before the one you will embroider on. Now, unroll the paper at least 6 sheets long so you won't accidentally tear the sheet off while embroidering. I keep my designs to very simple ones...I like using redwork designs a lot. Usually, the designs are around 2-3000 stitches.

Thanks are you saying to tear off the other sheets that don't have embroidery on once you have finished? And you put tearaway on the bottom and them the papertowel and next the vilene and then you do the design.

I have o done it but it shouldn't be any different form the TP. Roll it out I would think a couple of sheets fold back and put a cutaway on the back then the paper and tearaway in front, hop and stitch. Good luck.
