I wish Mary Frances the best for tomorrow`s surgery!
She will be in my thoughts.....
Oh Becky - before I finished reading this - I had said my first pray for Mary Frances. Thank you for allowing us to help in this manner.
Prayers heading her way. My 75 year old mom has health issues also, so I know how she feels. I live with and take care of her and am thankful for ever minute of it. I know how many times I have had to call someone and ask for prayers and Oh, how they've come through. I do hope and pray for her a speedy recovery.
My prayers will be with her. May God be with her and give her the strength to deal with this situation.
hope everything goes well in surgery,we'll pray for that.
Mary Frances will be in my prayers, and i will light a candle for her tonight.
Marlene
I TOO WILL SAY A PRAYER FOR HER AND FOR YOU TO GIVE HER STRENGTH.
Becky, i'm sending prayers and Angels for Mary and hopefully some words you may be able to use for encouragement.
Many years ago, my darling Grams had both her legs removed, gangrene from infected wounds, which was quite common back in the 50's & 60's, when you had diabetes.
After the first amputation, she had an artificial leg and still would manage to dance with us kids and muck around, if we misbehaved she'd take off her leg and threaten to throw it at us and at night we'd hide it and play tricks with her, all in good spirit and great love, she never lost heart and lived with her first artificial leg for many years before needing the second leg amputated.
Keep heart and encourage your friend to think positive, with love and laughter, there is always a positive to be found, besides it saving her life, she'll never have to wax again is just one thing you can say to lighten any gloomy thoughts. (only you know if she is the kind of person who will benefit from some humour)
On a sadder note, if Ray's first wife would have agreed to amputation of her leg, when first diagnosed with Melanoma on her shin, she would still have been alive today enjoying her beautiful grandchildren. There is a lesson in that too.
hugs n blessings, Meganne
Sorry to hear about this. Will pray for her. May God's will be done. How old is she?

My grandfather lost his lower leg due to untreated wounds and untreated diabetes, he was so scared he'd have something wrong with him he refused to see a doctor. The leg healed very fast, but it mentally it had a major impact. I hope all goes well with your mother's friend. She'll need a lot of support.
Becky, I have added her and the Dr.'s to my list...WELCOME to Cute!
