please note this is official

"Wahl" do not and never have made an "Embroidery Stitch Eraser"
I recently decided to purchase an "embroidery stitch eraser" from E bay the seller has an E bay shop and claims to have sold hundreds of these items. My Embroidery stitch eraser arrived and i was surprised to see the name "WAHL" on the side of it and that it looked identical to the tram linner that had been included with a home hair clipper set. I decided to ask the seller about this and tell them that i thought i had been conned and not only that but the identical item was on sale for £3-00 plus pp and not £14-00 i even gave them the e bay number for the nose and ear trimmer/ tram linner. the seller came back stating that it was totaly differnent and that they purchased them from "Babylock" i was also directed to another web site that also sold these amazing " embroidery stitch erasers"
I was not happy so this morning i contacted Wahl direct on
01227 744 331
i described the item and the model number and what it was being sold as and where it was being sold. they took my details so they could call me back after checking these companies.
the outcome of this is the Wahl modle name tag had been removed from the item and it was in fact "A Styleque" tram liner" suggested retail price of just £5-99.
i was informed that Wahl DO NOT AND NEVER HAVE made an Embroidery stitch remover and that this issue is now being taken up with their solicitors.
Yes i will be contacting the seller and informing them of this outcome and asking for my money back...
So lads and Lasses please save yourself a lot of money and just get a tramlinner
just because we enjoy a hobby does not mean we should be taken for fools by any company.

I'm not trying to defend this false advertising, but I have read in several forums that folks use the Wahl and say it works just as well as "Peggy's stitch eraser" and is cheaper.

Welcome to Cute Annie and hope you get your money back. I've been lucky, no problems so far with buying on eBay but you certainly have to be careful. Jo

I think I saw that in and advertisement someplace and I thought to myself, "That looks just like a hair trimmer. I wonder if it works?" But I never bought one. Thank you for the information.
