I am using customizer and yes it was just that one design...k lace folder...strange because when I took the usb stick out of my machine and connected it to the comp. customizer kept on closing when I went to one of the designs in that folder...i guess there was something wrong with it so as i said below. I deleted it.

I have a Janome 10000 & have the K-Lace disc- what number or description of design is it & I will sew it out to see what happens to mine. I've sewn out the angel & the butterfly several times without any problems. minicow -

I am here now....it was K lace number 12904...i have stitched it out 3 times once a few months ago ...did another one to match it and it came out a smaller size than the first and smaller than the actual size....and I did not change any size...left it as is...thank you for your help

This design stitched out the same each time for me- size approx 5cm. Did you use EASY EDIT SOFTWARE & COPY? - maybe call Janome Australia help line - I have had to in the past re Vista aaaahhhhh & had my problem solved by a very professional & helpful lady.
It is a pretty design - I’m going to use one of the sew outs for a front panel of a ball gown for GD’s fashion dolly - I'm online for about a hour if you want to send me a PM. minicow alias Denise
I hane a Janome 9700 it came with a SUE BOX lace disc that sew out lovely,i'm pretty sure you can only use customizer. Does this happen with all lace disks,maybee there is something going on with the computer in your machine. You need to talk to your dealer. Hope you get this sorted out,please keep us updated on the result. *4U
I also have a Janome 350E but it didn't come with a lace CD either. All I can suggest is that you check the stitch count on the CD and the one transfered to your machine and see if they are the same. You might also contact your dealer or Janome and see if they can help. Good luck and let us know the outcome. Your solution might be something we can all use at a later date.

Ok, I have the Janome 300E, and I didn't get a disc with designs, just the ones built into the machine. But, let me give it a try. You have to open the disc with your software, right? When you open it, make sure what size it is. It should tell you the size and stitch count at the bottom left of the screen. Compare that with the information you have as to what's on the disc. Hopefully you have something like that. I don't know which machine you have, but when you save it either to flash card or however you get it to the machine, check and make sure it's the same size. There might be a bug in the software you have for either showing or saving the design. Which software do you have, and what is the latest update? There was recently a large update to Digitizer Pro, and some of it was bug fixes. If you have a dealer, I'd make the call to her. That's why I think a dealer is SO important to have!! Good luck!! thank Marji, I have tried it all....checked Customizer and there might be a problem in the Customizer because one of the other designs in that k lace was coming up in my customizer as half finished. and then customizer switched itself off. then I had a problem with deleting the file of the USB stick. Had to transfer all my other designs to a new stick. and then reformat the Janome stick. what a headache.....Marlene
