I have the 4D Extra and love it. I have been trying to create designs from clip art with it. You can't manually do the digitizing part. But I'm trying to bring it into the regular part of 4D to adjust it. I understand that the 4D Professional version is better for digitizing. There is a "Cutie" that has that version.
I just recently purchased the Fab-u-motion with stitch regulator. I'm new at it but I love the regularity of the stitches. I have used it to do some limited work. Clearly I need to do some practicing. I'm glad that I got it. I got a special on it for $449.00. I believe Viking is advertising it for 499.00 now. By the way there are two versions of it on the market. The one I have is the Viking one not Inspiria.
