Hey, Brenda!! My DH bought me new Black & Decker ones last Christmas we spent together, and I love them, so small & light. I think they came with replacement blades, too. I have another pair, some other brand, but they have actual handles like scissors, and they really hurt my hand! The Black & Decker is more like a flashlight grip, much easier on the palm & fingers. Good luck!! Marji
I bought a pair that I really like at JoAnn Fabrics or Hancocks. The brand is My-T-Fine. They sit on a charger so are always ready to go and I have had no problems with them.
I've got some Brenda but haven't used them n yrs. What r u looking at cutting? I have some gingher fabric shears that I use on all my fabrics, but use a rotary blad for cutting for quilts, or pillows or any kind of straight or curved seams of course u need a good straight or curved ruler & a mat to use it. *
I am going to be cut cotton, cotton blends, felt, wool, satin , netting, taffeta, flennel, fleece, upholstery, just about all kinds.
I do alot of differant kinds of sewing.
I am going have to do something my right hand has the old Author in it. And the other night I cut out three piece of a purse out of upholstery fabic, my hand has hurt so bad. I tried just to cut a thin cotton, and I just could not do it.
I am going to have to get some, I did come across My-T-Fine on sell at a sewing site for $45.00 plus shipping. And they are the same from JoAnns site for $99.00.
Most of the Black and Deckor are going for about 15.00 to 25.00 on E-bay.
I might just have to get one of them because of money. But just maybe , my husband will get me the other one T-Fine for Christmas next year. Maybe if I am a good girl. ya think!
Thanks ,Brenda Lea
