I just finished making this banner for Erin's nursery. I drew and digitised the letters and their pictures and will put them on my website once I have the whole animal alphabet done; so far all I have are E for elephant, R for Rhino, I for insects and N for newt! (There's a bit of a shortage of animals beginning with N!) I will be doing the A,B and C next so I can make one for my other granddaughter Rebecca. The leaves and flowers at each end I made from leftover scraps of felt, I thought it needed something to add a final finishing touch. I've already given it to Catherine and she was delighted with it. Love from Dianne x x x

I've just finished drawing the extra letters for Rebecca's banner, I'll get them digitised today and should be able to start stitching them out this evening, all being well!

Thank you! The gingham was a "happy accident" - I'd originally planned to do leaf shapes in the plain colours but it just didn't work out right, but I found some pieces of gingham in my oddments drawer which matched the colours so I mounted the leaf shapes on them and I was very pleased with the result!
