This is very nice. I have all the material to do. Just a little lazy. PS Some one on Sew forum digitized the v cut and button hole for embroidery machine for those who hate buttonholes. Lisa

I also want to try this. Glad to hear that you didn't need the button and buttonhole. Thought it was a clever idea. Good work. Flower for u. Lyn Southern Highland NSW Australia.
Like Chris I cannot find, pretty please a bit more info :)
"Nonna" isn't it frustrating? Oh! by the way what a wonderful story about Meg and Ray and how kind of you to share your photos of the day. A beautiful beginning of a new life to be shared with each other. Love Chris
Love it, love it, love it! I use these hand towels in the kitchen all the time. I still have my Christmas one on the oven door at the moment! LOL I'm a bit slack in putting it away. But it is very cheery and I love all things "Christmassy". I think this design is fabulous - by having the larger area to pull the towel through on the door handle is a great idea!!!! Well done - great job. Love Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
I just downloaded the pattern....I'll have to give it a try!!
Hi "Cindy" can you tell me what page you found this design on. I have just been on the Embroidery Library site and I'll be damned if I can find what area it is under. I have typed in Hand towels and can't find it. Can you oblige me. Thanking you in anticipation. Love Chris
I added the link with another response. Doing it here doesn't work as a link. Check the Community page for my posting.
Smart! I was holding off doing one as I didn't want to mess with the button & button hole! Will try it without!! Looks good! Tks for the hint!
Thank you. Good luck on yours. I'm thinking about trying it on a terry towel for the bathrooms instead of a hand towel
great job, I saw this at Embroidery Library and I need to do it.
Love the 40's look...am interested in the top...I have never seen anything like it...I love it...
how is it made..or where can I find out??
love the design!!!
A direct link doesn't work here. I have added the link in the community section. Please check there.
Carolyn, I have this in my to-do list to do - it sure turned out great - do you have any special tips?
Thank you! Just remember that the fabric goes on the wrong side of the towel! I didn't put the button or buttonhole on it. Don't think it needs it. If the fabric was more plain it may add to the appearance.
PS- if you click on the picture you can see the fabric and design much better.
