All you have done is well, we have given joy to miss Loretta, and it is wthat is important
Maria,
When I was a little girl my dear grandma Ora taught me that love helps those who cannot help themselves. It was my joy to make a donation. Your thoughtful invitation to the cutie community gave us an opportunity to share our love, joy, and resources. Disagreeing with what the funds were used for, especially when there is more than enough funds to get her a computer and many hairdos, robs all of us of the happiness we derived from giving to someone in need; something I am sure they didn't intend to do. There will always be someone who disagrees or criticizes with what has or has not been done, so don't let it get you down or rob you of your joy.
Dear "1hot2m8a" I don't know you - but from what I have just read in your reply to Maria touched me deeply and I just had to reply. Your sentiments were said right from your heart and I wanted to thank you for what you said. I have only been on this site a few weeks and from what I have read and seen can only come to the conclusion that they are all worth their weight in gold. God bless all you CUTIES. This is a wonderful site. Love and ***** to you Chris from Newcastle, Australia
OOPS - I meant to say that "I have only been on this site a few weeks and from what I have read and seen can only come to the conclusion that all the people on this site are worth their weight in gold". Love Chris
Maria - it was very thoughtful of you to suggest starting this fund, and we all contributed out of love. Miss Loretta can use this to make herself feel better, and if that is having her hair done, or buying a candy bar, then so be it. You were very special in starting this, and you are right - if you look good, you feel good.
I am just happy Loretta is able to use the money for something she enjoys and maybe make her days a little brighter. Both you and Shirlene did a wonderful thing for a lovely lady. THANK YOU!!!!
Maria,
We contributed to Loretta's fund because we wanted to do so. No one was forced to contribute. You do not have to apologize for anything. You are a warm, caring person who came up with an idea to help our dear Loretta. BRAVO!!! I agree that Loretta should use the money for whatever brings her joy! Thank-you to you and Shirlene for being wonderful human beings! Love, Barb
Maria, you are a thoughtful lady and your idea became a reality making Ms Loretta happy! At last, this is the joy of giving: making someone happy! God bless you always!
I guess I missed some suggestions, what ever she wishes is fine with me. After all, it was a gift of love!!
The money was a donation and since the laptop idea didn't work out hair is a great idea. With a fancy new hair do she will feel like a million bucks and look it to. Personally, I had no issues with anything and don't feel you need to apologize.
I agree if that's what she wants I thinks that's what she should get.
I agree that SHE should be able to do what SHE wants..And If getting her hair done makes HER happy then SO BE IT!
If she wanted to buy Chocolate with the $$$ that would be OK too!
Oh Maria, she hasn't let up on the idea of a small notebook - but at this time - she has the funds in a trust fund and she will work out something and I know you will approve of it - I am please - she is please with it, today. The getting her hair done - was just something special - that we realized she could do and feel independant. Hehehe! Thanks for all you did to get this off the ground and all your support along the way.
I wasn't able to make a donation but I think she should have what makes her happy .
