my volunteer work for the Cancer Council -Relay for Life. My visitors gave me the funniest look after they referred to their English- German pocket translator book..“Kreb- you have krebs?” she said.


I now know that the translation for crab is kreb but I still can’t find the translation of Cancer as in the BIG C. Can a Cutie help me please?

it is indeed 'Krebs' - whether you mean cancer the disease or the zodiac sign! on the other hand a crab (the animal I mean) is 'Krabbe'.

The German for Cancer is Krebs.The big C is Karzinom( as in carcinoma-cancer)
