New site 'Stitching with Jake.' with freebies...yes, he is a guy.

i read somewhere Jake was in the navy and he hurt his back so he tried digitizing until he got better. Guess he got better.

It is weird that some of you got to his site and others like me can not. But it seems that the ones who could were posted in 2009. Probably worked then.

This site post is over a year old so it may not be around anymore.

This will not take me to his site! It is telling me that it can't be found, check to make sure you have entered the correct ....

Thank you. I think it's great for guys to be creative too. My grandfather taught me to crochet. He was very good.

Great site many thanks. Years ago my husband, for physical rehab did hand cross stitching (sadly he's unable to do this now,) but our local craft shop owner commenting on the quality of his work said 'A lot of my best needlepeople are men'. And I say long may that last. What is really great is we still can share that appriciation of embroidery even now I have moved onto machine embroidery and digitizing my own designs.

The same apply for men quiltmakers...Some of the prettiest quilts I've seen have been made by men.
