and drive unless it's tea or soda but we rode til out mouths were dry and then we'd find some cool food stop and chow down. It was strange weather this year, hot in the sun and freezing when you rode so the leather dealers made a fortune. My butt is sore, my face is burned and my back is killing me but I'm ready to go again. We plan on a trip to Joanns this week on 2 wheels, jeez we're nuts. (it's about 40 miles 1 way!) Oh yeah I embroidered a patch that says "Four wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul" and put it on the back of my leather vest. My bff stitched out several fairies that I have collected and put them on her vest. She's a fairy nut - me I'm into cats. But it was a blast, now for biketoberfest in Oct, wheeeeeeeeee

It sounds like you had fun. We used to ride when we were a bit younger. I think now those days are gone. But we enjoyed it. Keep biking as long as you can.

In my younger and healthier years, there was nothing anymore fun than taking a trip on our bikes. I started off with dirt bikes and graduated. Both were fun. When my son got to be a teenager, I got rid of my bike. He rode it too fast and too far for my comfort! Out of site-out of mind. He is 42 now and it never got in his blood like it was in mine. His dad was just borderline until we divorced when he was 11 but I stuck with it for a few years. My next door neighbor has a Harley and I sometimes wish I could ride it but I can not longer hold it up. Severe arthritis. I'm doing good to walk. Those were the days! I did have a wild side but nothing crazy and we never had alchol either. ENJOY while you can! Linda in Ga.
