Have you purchased a lovely embroidery thread simply to have your machine take an instant dislike to it . It takes it in, chews it up, and stamps on it and then spits it out under the foot plate and refuses to work? Then be sneaky and use it this way, if you are doing a decorative border stitch on your machine then thread the bobbin with that nice embroidery thread and matching plain thread in the needle end of the machine , now turn your work over to face down and begin to sew, Your design is worked and that nice embroidery thread is being used with no problem at all.

Thank you so a great idea. I do a lot sewing with my other machine, making purses, toys, clothes. so I us the thread that my embroidery machine hates.

but thinks for this idea, I write it down in my notebook so when someday when I trying to remember what you said, I can go to my book and look it up.

God Bless all you do. Brenda Lea

Wonderful solution! I (fortunately) haven't had the problem of my machine hating thread, but I am sure I will come across the problem someday. I have, so far, played it safe with Sulky, Madeira, Brother, etc. Since I haven't been using my machine on a consisitent basis until recently, I haven't tried a bunch of different threads. Now I will know how to handle it though when the problem presents itself!

Very good idea. I just spent a whole day thinking something is wrong with the machine. No it only disliked the thread. I was doing FSL's. I changed threads but used the rejected one in the bobbin and things went smoothly from there on. Of course it helped needing only white.

Nice tip. I hardly use those decorative borders since I have an embroidery machine, did a lot with them before that, but this is a nice way to start again!
