Glad Jerrilyn could give you such a good answer, now we all want to see the totebag!!! Just FYI, SiCK is now carrying stabilizers, developed by the guy who developed them for Floriani, and they seem to be a good price, shipped from the USA. I haven't gotten any yet, though. Good luck, Marji
Well tatorbug jrob took care of the instructions, so good luck & b sure & ppost it so we can see it. *
Stephanie, Jerrilyn gave you some really good advice so I will leve you with good wishes for a lovely bag and a *!
Depending on your opening, you may have to unstitch one side of the tote and then restitch it when completed. It is not a big deal to do that way and it saves fighting with the bag through the entire embroidery process. Sticky stabilizer should work just fine. I always pin when I use the sticky stabilizer too, because, well, I just don't trust it entirely, but that's just me! If I'm going to put that time and effort into something, I'm just not going to give it a chance to mess up!. Sticky doesn't work on everything, though, (like towels)so you need to get some tear away and some cut away (Medium and light)I rarely use heavy. I do keep some on hand, but have to re-find it everytime as it winds up on the bottom. The tear away that Walmart carries is perfectly good. I prefer OESD cut away stabilizer, but that is what my dealer carries and I'm used to it. I buy 505 spray and fix to affix the stabilizer to my project. It doesn't gum up my needles and doesn't make be feel like I'm choking when I spray it indoors. Good luck and I know it will be a KILLER bag!
You are too kind! Thank you so much for your reply! I can not wait to stitch it out! Too bad my Wal Mart doesnt carry any stabilizer. I will order some from a website though! *4u
