Coat is waterproof & personalized with his name on the nape of his neck & lined with 2 layers of fleece for warmth. Coat also has leg straps to keep the back of the coat over his bum. I resized this from a pattern for a small toy dog. Made it a couple of years ago because we were traveling in the late fall early winter in a pick-up truck. Dogs teeth were chattering before that. You wouldn't think that he needs a coat in the first place, but I had his hair trimmed short. Then we got the call in late fall to travel. & we couldn't leave him home.
