Yes and when it is finished put it on your projects so that we all can see how it looks like. love Marie.
Might be a while :) I have several started. One with 7 x 7 squares, another with 8 x 8, one with 11 x 7, and last 12 x 12 squares. A couple of the them are ready to start the second row. I'm using the Betty Cotten quilt as you go technique, so when I get the number of rows I want all I have to do is add the border.
Yes, always use stabilizer. Hardest part for me is cutting the fabric away, close enough to show no remnants, not so close that I cut the stitching.
That is tricky. I seem to do okay on that part. What I am doing though, is stitching a satin stitch around embroidery designs I test stitched. Not knowing what I could use them for, I cut the fabric around each design to save my test material. Now I have decided that I could put several on fabric blocks and make a quilt with them. So I am attaching them to square blocks by sewing satin stitches around them. My last two squares have puckered as I have been doing the satin stitches. This has not happened with the other squares. I'm using the same fabric square so I can't understand why all of a sudden they are puckering. Since I started the quilt, I have been stitching any test designs directly onto a square block to avoid all this extra work in the future. Live and learn. :)
You have an answers I just give you a flower and will be waiting to see that beautiful quilt. I don't know how to quilt myself :( waaaahh
Adelmarie, i love the (waaaah) I will also cry out because I am still battling with this Love Marie
