Thank you, yes it's my first. The youngest in our family is 13 years old, so when my sister fell pregnant(unplanned!) we were so excited and I wanted to make something special for the baby.

yes, wanted to make something special for new baby. I drew a plan of the blocks on the computer and worked out the measurements from there, that took the most time, the sewing was fun !

I love this quilt. The color combination is great. My first grandchild is expected in July and You have just given me some ideas on how I am going to do my quilt. As soon as I get back from my Caribbean cruise I will be busy again with my quilting and embroidery.

thank you, this baby was not planned and my sisters other boy is 14 already! Great excitement and I wanted to give something special. Also just got back from visiting new baby in Wildernis(outside of Cape Town).
