You can use a balled up piece of tinfoil to get rid of static in your clothes while they are in the dryer?

Ok, one more thing I have to try! Wow, first I find out that there are little tabs to keep my tinfoil from jumping out of the box, then I find out I can sharpen my scissors with it, and now this. The old lady is amazed!! My dryer inside is a composite, so I'm not worried about scratches. If you ball it without any sharp pieces, it won't snag things, right? This is so cool. Thanks, Marji

I would think that it would be hot. and I'm thinking it would be more expensive????

You don't have to rip a fresh piece off the roll. Just wipe off the old stuff that you have to cover your bowls with when you are done with that bowl. Just dry it off before you ball it up *4U

It's all about recycling.

Also too when you have a piece of tinfoil to cover your glass & metal pans when you are baking, is it hot when you try to take it off? Generally mine is not.

Won't the tinfoil scratch the coating on the inside of the dryer???

I found this on page 82 of the April 14th issue of Woman's Day.

Karen, are you saying that you use tinfoil in the dryer in a ball and it will get rid of the static? WOW! I am truly amazed - I am going to use that - I have a load that I am putting in the dryer in a minute for my Mother and I just hate static cling - thank you.

No i'm not saying that I use tinfoil. I'm saying that I read it in a Women's Day magazine to remove static cling. It's in the most recent issue.

I used it today - it seems to work great, too.
