Roslyn all i can say, soooooooo beautiful, lovely lovely work
I saw this in person today and it is absolutely fabulous. Roslyn you do beautiful work.
Cheers, Claire
Great design, it looks fantastic. I can't see where you stitched the designs together, I can't even figure out where one ends and the next begins! Your border is beautiful too. I'm in awe!
thank you mops. I stitched them all together by hand -as I had more control than if I had done it by machine. It would have been a nightmare.
Wow another piece of your beautiful work, soooo lovely well done
Thank you for letting us know where you got this - it is lovely - what linen - should you have used?

this linen had a "stripey" look about the weave. The one I had originally chosen I couldn't find it. After I finished the centre. of course I found it.
OK - thanks! I bought some plain white linen and may give this a try in the next couple weeks - have to put in on the list to get to it - lol.
Beautiful again Rosyln....So how did you do this??? Fill us in...........lol
Ta Michele. It's sewn out "8" times per design. I hand stitched the designs together . cross marked the 29" square by 4... Then I used the "Sewing revolution" to do the round marking in the centre. 12" round. Then lots of pine were used to hold in place. Then marked down 1 " from the long point of lace. to place the centre of the small scallop and then it all fell into place. Small zig-zag stitches to secure and then Using a wing needle for extra decoration using the appique stitch to sew into place. Then cut away the fabric away. VOILA finished.
