Well, I collect dust collectors!! Love fabric of any sort and just love wool and the colours and the textures, and I have quiet a few porcelain dolls, that I have made, bears, that I have also made, and bead knitted purses, I crochet, have loads of craft magazines, ribbons, trims, just about a craft shop, but, isn't it great, all this stuff, and who knows when it will be used, but, then there is always more waiting around the corner. And then of course the latest, is embroidery, machine that is and everything that goes with it..

I'm a serious Hallmark Collector. I've been collecting Hallmark Ornaments since 1979. I have a large collection of Hallmark buttons and pins, Merry Miniatures (they don't make these any more), miniature ornaments, stocking hangers, Easter Ornaments, Halloween Ornaments. It's a real sickness. I'm glad Hallmark doesn't make a lot of this stuff any more, because it keeps me from buying it and besides the ornament room is spilling over into other rooms in the house.

Embroidery designs galore....lol think that's all. Think I'm probably collecting dust bunnies too but not intentionally.

What do I collect. Well far too much fabric. Why is it that whenever you start something new you never have the fabric in the collection?
Right other things collected. Old sewing and cookery/recipe books. Orchids, which I love growing and furniture for my daughters. One has not got a house yet but has some furniture for when she does, the other is still working on the house so is not ready for some of her furniture...
Yes there is the dust too and a ironing pile.
But my other half collects wood for projects and has 2 (small) planes in the garage, neither of which are in a condition to fly. (He is working on one as I write this) Reading further down everyones lists we also have my late fathers stamp collection waiting for someone to do something with it. And all the usual sewing bits and pieces.

My largest collection at this time is dust! Other than sewing things (I am sure I'll use "some day") I also collect dolls, items made in the country from mission trips, Hummels, but haven't added to these too much lately as I am running out of room! And, oh, my, all that scrapbooking stuff!!

I was at a sewing club today and one of the ladies bought her sewing machine in and it was dusty so I calmly handed her a cloth and told her I did mine last night. She felt better and I told her it goes with the craft.

lol... if only hubby saw this question!! apart from anything that has to do with embroidery and patchwork (books, fabric, designs, thread etc) I have a big weakspot for china - especially blue and white china (plates are the hardest to resist). I also collect porcellan dolls and have a countless ammount of stuffed toys (I call these my kids since I have no human kids or pets... pathetic yeah). I also love buttons, lace, ribbons, card making stuff and have two boxes full of wool which I am supposed to crochet into afghans one day.... somewhere in our attic there must be a collection of stamps too. I also have a collection of china thimbles. and oh I almost forgot I also have a collection of cookery books (many of which brand new and some even still wrapped in their protective plastic!!) and... shhhhhhh don't tell my hubby but I'm planning to expand my china collection to egg cups and milk jugs as soon as I can get some good bargains!!!
ps: my hubby woould probably also add that I collect shirts........ his that is, cos while I really don't mind doing the laundry I absolutely hate ironing! so the ironing pile is always increasing in our flat (no he is very incapable of ironing unfortunately - anyone knows of a book ironing for dummies please let me know!)

You know what..We must inherrit our collective ways from some one.I don't have a hubby so I have free reign over what i do and don't do but my dad and my mum were both crafters.so I gained mine from both of them so my stash is bigger than most.

Large stashes of fabric; hand embroidery floss and loads and loads of patterns; machine embroidery thread; bobbins for bobbin lace making, patterns and yarn; knitting yarn in all sorts of thicknesses and colours, needles in all sizes as well as crochet hooks and tatting shuttles; cookery books; books and more books (and so has my DH); bookpress, papers, linen and other bookbinder's paraphernalia; boxes and bins filled with felt and straw capelines and cones for making hats, rolls of other materials, 36 wooden head and brim blocks, steamer, stiffeners and so on. Now that I read the list I realize why my attic and cupboards are filled to overflowing...

Material, material, material!!! My husband is already having small fits, because cupbourd space is getting very cramped. I also belong to bookclub, and my youngest son is manager of a bookshop, (one in a big chain of shops, called Exclusive books), and he is always buying books too. I never like to get rid of the good one's, and luckily my DH builds beautifull cupboards, and I have some lovely modern bookshelves. Nice question, *fu

well lets see, I collect fabric (a nice stash so far but getting larger, just to broke to get to many at one time, but I'm trying) but am new to the addiction, I have collected hundreds of movies on dvd and I think I have just about every book ever published on plastic canvas. Was hooked on that for quite a few years when my back wouldn't let me do anything else and before I got my new Designer 1. About the only other thing I collect is my dh's dirty laundry! (hahahahahahaha)
